How to overcome negative emotions?

Ya... I have been kinda down and stress lately.. what to do.. I'm a final year student.. and all the accounting and finance assignments.. I tell you.. is not as easy as it seems to be.. but none the less.. it is very challenging and interesting as well. ok.. out of topic.. I have been down because my beloved sister went to India as she is currently under JPA scholarship and government decided to send her to India to study Medic.. although it is a great news.. but seeing her departing.. makes me feel down.. u know what i meant right? Thn this tones of assignments.. my.. I started to wonder where is my life.. and when can I have the time to rest.. and maybe go back to Melaka.. thn I suddenly think of this wonderful place (actually not as wonderful as you have in mind) which have my favorite food.. I've got to have it.. because I know well that it will definitely makes me feel so much better.. but time is running out.. how? So, I have made up my mind.. if i can do til my desired part on the next day.. I will reward myself with this wonderful food.. and guess what.. it not only motives me to strive harder.. I actually feel so much better after I had it.. and this is the wonder of food?!.. Now i understand why people will tend to eat alot when they are super down.. but what I'm about to show you.. is not chocolate or wat so ever.. it is just a really small stall.. but one famous stall at petaling street selling my favourite food -.. introducing... ASAM LAKSA!!!

NICE?!.. I dunno.. I find it to be really really nice.. and not to forget.. fresh.. but hygiene wise.. well.. what can i say.. it is a stall at Petaling Street.. right in front of the pasar.. but heh.. when it starts selling foods.. the pasar would have closed.. so.. not really a huge issue.. but if you are too a big fan of Asam Laksa.. this is a MUST to try it out..

what actually makes it so special and different from what we usually have? Well.. let's see.. it's fresh.. and you actually get what you pay for.. and MOST IMPORTANTLY.. ok.. let the photo do the talking.. u see the one in the blue box (in the photo below)?? it is wat that makes the diff.. you can PUT AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE! and if you don't find the soup to be as spicy as you desired? u can always add the one in the yellow box.. but let me warn you first.. it is spicy enough d.. I actually need tones of tissue after I had it.. so.. if u wanan take up my challenge and put more of the one in the yellow box.. go ahead.. be my guest!! ok.. done talking.. MORE of how my favourite looks like..

You will realise one thing.. you get what you pay for.. and it cost RM4.50 ( for this big bowl of Asam Laksa) and I actually feel extremely full after I had it.. worth all the money I pay for.. because.. I know places selling such food.. it might be as nice as this.. but you might have to pay almost double of the price I'm paying. so.. you decide... but before you go.. please make sure that it is after 3.30pm.. because the stall only start operating after 3.30pm.. and you can even have your dinner there.. so.. do try it out.. because it is really nice!! and most of all.. IT CHEERS ME UP !!

Krispy Kreme anyone??!!

I know most of you would have heard of Big Apple or J.Co donuts, but have have you heard of Krispy Kreme??

As far as I know those that have been to Europe country .. places like .. Melbourne would have know Krispy Kreme as it has been these for sometime.. but as far as Malaysia is concern, it has only been in Malaysia for.. less than a year.. the last time I've checked, it's about half a years old in Malaysia. Ya.. it has been kinda new in Malaysia... and so.. it's reasonable for you not to know such delicious doughnut!!

I was lucky enough to have the chance to meet up with the senior operating manager. Let me tell you.. he is really a nice guy.. no. .he didn't pay me to say anything.. unless you would say a cup of orange juice and a New York Cheese cake is viewed as a sign of bribery.. but come on.. I don't really think it's material enough to actually affect my judgment..

Let me get back ot the point.. the donuts.. yes.. it's not really that cheap.. but let's talk after you have actually tasted it.. it is worth the money!! Well, I've tasted J.Co donuts few months back.. and I can't really recall what it impressed me of (I don't really have an impressive memory you see).. but Krispy Kreme's donuts.. emmm.. once you have a taste of it.. you will not actually feel like eating those normal RM1 donuts d..

Well, I know for some people this original doughnut might be slightly sweet.. yes.. I know.. but this is a really special doughnut.. they used melted sugar as the topping.. and once you have a bit on it.. it's crunchy from the outside and soft from the inside. Try to have a bite of it if you really have yet to taste it.. I actually wonder how they came up with this idea.. it will cost you about rm19.90 if you buy a dozen.. but I was lucky enough to have it free.. because there is someone who went through all the trouble .. being the first 100 to line up at the Sunway Krispy Kreme branch on the first day they operate and got the voucher of 1 month free original doughnut!!

These are the few with special toppings on it.. if you really think the original is way too sweet.. unacceptably sweet.. I would suggest you to try this few topping.. especially the one in purple, pink and red.. these few.. according to Mr. Peter ( the Senior Operating Manager) , it had been improved lately to make it less sweet.. and from the feedback i got from others.. it's less sweet and really nice.. so you gals and guys should try it out!!

Well.. see the one that I've circled in red? It's one of my favorite doughnut the New York Cheese!.. how should I describe it..emmm.. I can't find a word to describe it.. it's not too sweet.. and not tasteless.. there are cream in the doughnut.. what else?? emmm.. try to have a taste of it.. and you will know what i meant.. haha..

I know that currently they are having 3 branches in Malaysia. If you wish to get freshly baked doughnuts, the Times Square should be your choice because it's their factory outlet. The other 2 are Mid Valley and Sunway outlets. I heard that they will be opening another outlet not long from now.. and as what I've heard from Mr. Peter, he said that around Xmas session, they will have some cute pattern of doughnuts especially for Xmas.. I'm curious how it'll look like..let's see if I'm lucky enough get photos of them and share it with you guys!!

Bukit Beruang Night Market (Pasar Malam on Wednesday)

Sorry guys for not updating my blog.. I was kinda busy.. busy watching series.. haha..but you know what.. since some of you not really a big fans of "Melaka", I actually intended to introduce Melaka Night Market to all of you..

Well, the first thing that cross my mind was.. FOODS!! haha.. well, I know, unlike KL's night market.. I went there few times, I can hardly walk.. but in Melaka, you are rest assure that you can really have most of the space to walk. In fact, if you want to dance in the middle of the road.. be my guess.. I actually doubt you will have much problem. No no.. I'm not saying that no one actually go for the night market, and in fact, lots of MMU students go there dating and stuff.. but that is not the point of this post.

I actually feel like I have to let you guys know the nice stuff when you are go for this night market. I have even captured some photos of the "special" foods that you actually have to wait for your turn. At times, when you are in "bad luck" you have to wait for about half an hour to get the food you want.

Ok.. cut the story and get to the point. The first food is "Jeli Madu Ai Yee" that was once really "famous" and somehow a must buy when you come to night market. It actually cost RM1.50


And right beside this stall.. is a "forever" famous pop corn stall. I remembered once.. I actually have to wait for more than half an hour for this pop corn. How special is this pop corn ? for a start, it cost me Rm1 for a pack.. and it is sweet.. and actually taste nice.. the most part of the story.. well.. when a stall is full of poeple.. it speaks for itself.. and you just have to taste for youself to judge it right?


Well, not very far away from this stall, there is this "chicken chop" that I found in KL first before I found it here in Melaka. Well, I would say that.. it is not really that cheap. It will cost around RM5.50 for one I think .. but you know what.. the smell of it when they are frying it.. makes you feel that you just have to taste it... if you were there.. you will know what I meant.


Somewhere opposite this stall, you will find this "pair" of people selling this special cakes.. yes.. I meant it when I said special because .. well, there are few types of cakes. You can even see kiwi cake which.. is one of my favourate when I'm out to this night market, accompanying my mom. It cost about RM6.50 if i'm not mistaken.
A must buy when I visited this night market are the following

This is Penang Laksa and the photo on the right is rojak. This penang laksa actually cost me RM3.20 and this rojak cost me RM3.. but well.. It worth my money.. because .. I actually enjoyed eating them.. Talk about Penang Laksa.. I actually remembered this someone promised or at least to bring me one from Penang.. but.. I guess I will have to wait.. until when ? hahaha.. that is not an answer for me. Well, I actually have to wait for more than half an hour for these foods. Ya.. I know.. this rojak don't really look delicious.. but trust me.. it actually taste really really good ans that is why when people buy.. usually they will buy more than 1 pack.

While I was hunting for foods, I came across this drink Honey Drew Sago which actually taste kind of ok .. and it cost me around RM 1.80. Ya.. I know.. for KL.. this is cheap.. but when you are in Melaka.. this is not in the really cheap category. I managed to capture a clear picture of it..

Father's Day

Yes.. yesterday was the official Father's Day.. and my brother actually come back all the way from Klang because of this.. and someone actually treat my dad because of this.. hahaha.. meaning.. I also have the chance to join in and enjoy the meal!! Hoo RAy !!

Well, unlike in KL, Melaka don't really have alot of "high class places" or cafe that we can choose.. but there is one new (not really new but only came into Melaka's picture in less than a year time) named Island Red Cafe which is placed in Bukit Beruang and Dataran Pahlawan. Well, I know this cafe actually have a "member card" which cost RM 300 that will allow you to credit from that amount everytime you spent in the cafe and when you "top up" , you will be entitled to earn some amount.. and if you are able to get someone to join the "family" you will be able to earn some amount too.. and so I've heard..Well, I have managed to get some nice photos of the dishes and drinks we have there..


The photo on the left is what I have ordered.. since I have been having sore throat lately.. but it does taste on.. the photo on the left.. is Ice Blended Mocha and their famous Island Red Coffee.. The Ice Blended Mocha does taste nice ..and it cost RM 5.4 if i'm not mistaken .. This 2 cups actually taste nice.. I especially like their Island Red Coffee..it cost Rm 2++ but it really taste nice.. I mean.. I like it a lot.. and I know not all will like it.. but I like it..

The photo on the left.. is.. seafood spaghetti that my sister ordered..Well, I won't say it taste bad.. but.. it taste just normal and ok .. and my friend, the one on the right, is what I've ordered.. Maryland Chicken Chop with tar tar source.. I actually like it a lot.. although it cost Rm 10++.. but I actually ate until very full.. I can't really finish all and have to ask my sister to finish it for me.. hahaha.. Below are the photos right before my sister and I start our meal..

My sister is the one on the left ..even with a "V" doesn't mean you win me ok ?! my meal is still better than yours.. Hahaha!! and so, picture speaks louder than words.. I was hungry and wanted to start my meal right before I took this photo.. hahaha.. and with the meal.. I can actually update my blog without any breakfast.. until now.. ok.. those dishes make me hungry.. I guess I need to go and have my lunch d..

All in one, IRC is actually a nice place.. at least I think it worth the money as compared to some cafe in Melaka. But, this is highly subjective.. so.. lawyers out there.. don't sue me k ! because this is only my humble opinion.. " ^.^v "
